Police Scotland is appealing for information after a 34 year-old man was subjected to an assault and theft on Sunday 7 September 2014.

At around 20.00 hours on Sunday evening, the 34 year-old man was chased from Netherhill Road to Knowe Road at the junction with Kilearn Way where he was assaulted by two men. He was then taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital with a number of injuries where he was released a short time later.

Both suspects are described as white and approximately 25 years of age. The first suspect is described as 5ft 7 with a skinny build, wearing a navy blue t-shirt and dark track-suit bottoms.

The second suspect is described as a 6ft tall with a muscular build, with short spiky hair and a tan. The second man was wearing a grey tracksuit top and dark shorts.

Detective Inspector Suzanne Chow is appealing for information. She said today:

“Door to door enquiries have been conducted and local CCTV continues to be analysed. I would urge anyone with information that may help police enquiries, or who may recognise the description of the two suspects to contact 101, the non-emergency number for Police Scotland. Alternatively CRIMESTOPPERS can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
