This was the last event after months of fund raising. After a final count the butchers have raised £3000 for Yorkhill.

Elderslie butchers said: “Thanks to everybody for your support and kind donations for a great cause Yorkhill.

“We have raised over £3000 between our charity night and our great customers we love you all. And a big thanks to every one who gave us great gifts for our race night, because of yous we managed to reach this amount.

“And of course none of this would have been done without a little push from a great man Alan Ovens and family, we did this for you.”
