Nomination are being accepted for Erskine Citizen of the Year 2015 and local residents are being asked to vote.

Last year’s winners were Zac and Iqbal, two local shopkeepers who dedicated a great deal of time and effort to the community.

The Community Council are looking for someone who lives in Erskine and has contributed in a positive way towards the community.

The judging will be carried out by a panel of independent local residents and the winner will be announced at Erskine Festival in August.

Nominations for this year’s winner can be placed in boxes at Bargarran Community Centre Coffee lounge, the Old Farmhouse Community Centre, Zac’s shop in Park Glade, Erskine Library or alternativley votes can be submitted by email to [email protected] or visit the Citizen of the Year Facebook page.

When nominating you should state your name and contact details, the name of the person you are nominating and the reason for nominating that person in 30 words or less.

The closing date for nominations is Tuesday 30th June 2015.
