Two more work vans were broken into this week overnight in Linwood adding to others in Linwood and other towns.

The break-ins happened between Tuesday 29th September and Wednesday 30th September 2015 in Bridge of Weir Road, Linwood and Erskinefauld Road, Linwood.

A quantity of work tools were stolen from both vehicles.

Overnight between Thursday 24th September and Friday 25th September 2015 a Ford Transit van was broken into in Queens Drive, Bishopton and a quantity of tools stolen.

A further van was broken into in Holmes Crescent, Erskine the same night and a CD player and quanity of tools stolen.

Police have asked the public to be aware that work appear to be targeted and have asked owners of vans to ensure tools are kept secure overnight.
