Artist and performer Donna Rutherford is looking for volunteers to help ‘serve up’ her new show Broth at Paisley Arts Centre on Thursday 8th October. Part of Luminate – Scotland’s creative ageing festival – Broth explores the experiences of older people in 21st century Scotland with a series of nostalgic, true stories inspired by the tradition of soup making. It explores the rituals and revelations that trace changes in people’s lives, families and wider communities through a series of personal storytelling conversations.

And, as the performance has been inspired by soup, the audience will also receive a delicious bowl of the Broth that Donna cooks on stage at the end of the show.

5 volunteers are sought to help serve the Broth at the end of the performance on Thursday whilst the post show discussion takes place. Please contact the Box Office on 0300 300 1210 if you are able to lend a hand.

Donna will also host a Storytelling Workshop 2pm – 4.30pm on Tuesday 6 October at Paisley Arts Centre. Workshop spaces are free but should be reserved by calling 0300 300 1210.

Broth will be at Paisley Arts Centre on Thursday 8 October 2.30pm. Tickets cost £10 (£6 concession), available from the Box Office at Paisley Arts Centre, on 0300 300 1210 or online at www.renfrewshireleisure.com/online-booking
