Taylor Wimpey will be hosting a public exhibition to show proposals for a development on the land of the former Johnstone Hospital site on Bridge of Weir Road in Linwood.

The 9.93 acre brownfield site is already identified for housing and this public exhibition is designed to encourage members of the public to share their views and give feedback before Taylor Wimpey West Scotland prepares a detailed planning application to Renfrewshire Council.

The Public Exhibition of the house builders plans will take place on Wednesday 26th April, between 2pm-7pm and will be hosted by the team at Tweedie Hall, Bridge Street, Linwood, PA3 3DB and members of the public are encouraged to visit.

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland saod they welcome the opportunity to consult the local community of Linwood and the wider Johnstone area and will consider their views as plans for the development are drawn up.

Stephen Andrew, Technical Director of aylor Wimpey said: “Public Exhibitions are an excellent way for Taylor Wimpey to engage at an early stage with the community in which it intends to deliver new homes.

“This is an important part of the process, and we would encourage as many members of the public as possible to view our proposals. It is our intention to review all the feedback that we receive at this event in order to inform our design, prior to submitting a detailed planning application to Renfrewshire Council following conclusion of the community consultation process.”
