A late Adam Eckersley goal could not prevent the third league defeat of the Season. Saints concede a 2-1 loss to Dundee United, but remain on top of the league. 6836 was today’s attendance. The second half was much like the first, lots of opportunities on both sides, but it was Dundee’s Sam Stanton who doubled the lead for the home side in the 79th minute. The Buddies put on the pressure in an effort to at least equalize, but time was running out. At 90+1 it looked as though Dundee might get a third, but Keating’s effort was deflected just past the post. At 90+4 Adam Eckersley fired a stunner into the net to pull one back, but it wasn’t enough Full Time 2-1 United. Buddies remain on top of the table.
