Paisley Butcher Graeme McGinlay knows there’s more than MEATS the eye to being one of the best in the business.
And that’s why he’s once again demonstrated his support for the local community by entering into a third year of sponsorship with top Renfrewshire club Thorn Athletic Community Football Club.
Graeme, who lives in Johnstone, regularly supports local clubs and charities through sponsorships and prize donations.
This season the name Graeme’s Butchers will adorn the front of Thorn Athletic adult team’s new distinctive and crisp-looking red away kit manufactured by sports brand Nike.

Graeme, who is approaching 30 years in his family business, came on board with ‘The Thorn’ in 2016 and has never looked back.
His son Scott runs The Butchers Deli & Bakery next door on Well Street in Paisley’s West End and the family are well known in the area for re-investing the fruits of their labour.
Thorn Athletic secretary Mark McGee, said: “Graeme’s Butchers have been tremendous since they began supporting us a few years ago.
“He is very loyal to us and that can be something that’s hard to find in today’s business community, particularly with all the challenges local producers face against the big supermarkets.
“We are delighted to showcase his business wherever we go in Scotland and we hope he will continue to be a major supporter of the club in years to come.”
Graeme McGinlay, said: “I keep a close eye on the fortunes of the team and I’m always glad to help. The strips look great and we look forward to seeing the lads in action.
“Hopefully the new kit will bring plenty of luck and success for them in the future.”
Graeme’s Butchers is located at 11 Well Street Paisley, PA1 2SS and can be reached for orders on 0141 889 3898.
