This shelter is located beside Beith Road in Quarrelton, at the junction with Tower Road. Inside, on the north-eastern wall (the right-hand end, in this photograph), are the words “To commemorate a happy reign”; the shelter was built to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee (in 1897) of Queen Victoria.
