Plans to extend the Glasgow Subway in to Renfrewshire have been unveiled.

The plan would cost millions of pounds and would see underground trains passing through Renfrew, Braehead and stopping at Glasgow Airport.

The work wouldn’t be complete until at least 2020. It would revolutionise transport in Renfrewshire, giving people living in the Paisley area a fast, direct link to the city centre.

It plan would be submitted bt SPT later next year.

The cost alone for the conection from Braehead to Glasgow Airport would be £100 million.
