Two girls from Paisley who went missing last night have been found safe and well Police Scotland have said.
Police via Facebook thanked everyone for their assistance.
Concerns are growing for two girls from Paisley who went missing yesterday in Glasgow.
Police are seeking the assistance of the public in trying to locate Demi-Lee Parker, 12 and Chantelle Reilly, 14 were seen leaving the Shortroods area of Paisley by taxi at 5pm yesterday.
They were last seen around 7.45pm in the Lincoln Avenue area of Knightswood, Glasgow.
Demi-Lee is described as white, approximately 4ft 10” in height and of slim build with long brown hair. When she was last seen she was wearing a multi-coloured crop top, mutli-coloured Nike jacket, black leggings and black pink and blue Nike trainers.
Chantelle is described as white, approximately 5ft”, stocky build with fair collar length hair blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing a yellow polo shirt, black leggings, white,black and grey trainers.
Both girls are known to frequent Glasgow city centre, Paisley town centre and the Springburn area.
Insp Tracy Harkins of Paisley Police Office is appealing for any information on their whereabouts. She said today: “Although Demi-Lee and Chantelle are thought to be together they are both young and vulnerable and we need to know they are safe and well.”
“Extensive police enquiries are ongoing to trace the girls and I would ask anyone with information to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
