Police have made a missing persons appeal for a teenage boy who may have traveled to Edinburgh.

He is described as 5 foot 6 inches in height, slim build with wavy black hair and brown eyes. When last seen he was wearing a khaki green tracksuit and black trainers.

It is believed he may have travelled to the Edinburgh area.

“Extensive police enquiries are ongoing to trace him and officers have been carrying out searches to find Hamid, but have so far been unsuccessful. I would ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
