Senior six pupils from St Columba’s School, Kilmacolm, held their annual bake sale on Friday.

This years theme was ‘at the movies’ with senior six pupils fully embracing and donning their best costumes for the occasion.

Team Cozy Coupe and Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) were the chosen recipients of the money raised and the School was delighted to welcome one half of Team Cozy Coupe, Phil Kelly, to the bake sale.

Phil and his brother Jonathan, both former pupils of St Columba’s School, make up Team Cozy Coupe and begin their epic journey in a matter of weeks, driving from Glasgow to the Sahara in a cozy coupe themed smart car to raise funds for CHAS.

Deputy Head Boy, Finlay Cooper, proudly presented Jonathan Kelly with the cheque for £723.

Jonathan Kelly, said: “With the help of St Columba’s School we have raised over £10,000, without events like the bake sale raising funds we wouldn’t be able to assist the children and families needing help.”
