A fresh appeal has been made for Patricia Henry who has now been missing for a year.

Police would like to hear from anyone with information on the whereabouts of 46-year-old Patricia, who lived in Paisley before she moved to Girvan in October 2017.

Patricia, known to her friends as Patti, has not been seen by her family or friends since Monday 13th November 2017.

She was reported missing in March 2018 and despite extensive enquiries and previous appeals no trace of her has been found.

Patricia’s daughter, 18-year-old Alannah McGrory yesterday made a plea for anyone who knows where her mother is, to contact the police.  She said : “One Christmas has already passed without my mum being here and we don’t want another to go by without her. We really miss her so much and are desperate to hear from her.

“We are so worried about her and every day that passes with no word or contact from her we become even more anxious. If anyone has any idea where my Mum could be or has seen her since she went missing please let the police know.”

Patricia is described as white, 5ft 10 of slim build and has collar length brown hair. She has a tattoo of two clouds, outlined in blue, with a red rose and green stem with the word ‘Patti’ on her left arm.

Detective Chief Inspector Suzie Chow, said: “Despite the passage of time I am still appealing for anyone who has any knowledge of Patricia’s current whereabouts to get in touch. Although I have said before we cannot rule out that she may have come to harm, I am still treating Patricia as a missing person.

“My thoughts are very much with her family and friends who are understandably incredibly anxious to hear from her.

“Officers have spoken with hundreds of people to try and jog their memories and find out if they remember seeing Patricia since she went missing.

Anyone with any information should contact Police via 101. Alternatively you can contact CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously. http://ow.ly/d/84km
