Police have confirmed that teenager Lewis Dorans has been traced and is safe and well.

Police have made an appeal to trace the whereabouts of a teenage boy who has went missing in the early hours of this morning.

Lewis Dorans, who is 14-years-old is not dressed for the weather and officers are concerned for his well-being.

Lewis was last seen at around 1am this morning in the Shortroods area of Paisley. He is described as 5 ft 6 inches, slim build, short brown hair and brown eyes when last seen he was wearing grey onesie with a black Adidas tracksuit with 3 white stripes down the sleeves underneath. Lewis is known to frequent Shortroods and also the Ferguslie Park area of Paisley.

Sergeant Jason Buxton, Response Policing at Paisley said: “Lewis is not appropriately dressed for the current weather conditions and we are concerned for his wellbeing.

“I would appeal to anyone who may have information on his whereabouts, or to Lewis himself, to contact us on 101 as a matter of urgency”
