Next month St. Vincent’s Hospice will be hosting their Summer Gathering of Thanksgiving and Remembrance.
The annual event features an afternoon of songs, readings and activities designed to help fondly remember the past, those who we have lost and look to the future.
Spiritual Care Co-ordinator for St. Vincent’s Hospice, Catherine McGrath, said: “For more than 30 years, St. Vincent’s has provided care and support for people all across the community who have been affected by a range of life-limiting conditions, helping them through some of the most difficult times of their lives.
“This is why we believe it is so important that every year we take the chance to not only remember the past, but look forward with hope, and share our memories at our Summer Gathering. We all have ways of coping during difficult times, and would love if you could come along, meet some of the people who have gone through similar experiences in the last 12 months, and maybe share a few things which have helped you in the past.”
The event will be held on Sunday 18th August beginning at 2pm.
St. Vincent’s Hospice is a specialist provider of palliative and Hospice Care for people and families all across Renfrewshire. The Summer Gathering is open to all, and if you would like more information, please visit: www.svh.co.uk.
