One of Scotland’s leading commercial cleaning companies, Barrhead based Complete Cleaning Services, is revving up for the finals of the British Rally Championships this weekend whilst raising vital funds for the company’s official charity partner – STV Children’s Appeal.

Complete Cleaning’s sports ambassador Caroline Carslaw and her navigator Charley Sayer-Payne will be competing in the Galloway Hills Rally, the last round of the Scottish and British Rally Championships where they are currently lying second place in their class in the Scottish Championship.

Caroline’s rally car, branded with the STV Children’s Appeal, will be racing through the Galloway forests starting at Dalbeattie and finishing at Threave Garden this Saturday in front of an expected 15,000 spectators. A Complete Cleaning team will be out on force – armed with collection buckets – raising as much money as they can for this well needed charity.

With one in four children and young people in Scotland living in poverty it was a no brainer that Complete Cleaning picked the STV Children’s Appeal as their main charity partner. Having launched in 2011 by The Hunter Foundation and STV, the charity has managed to raise over £19 million, allowing them to make 1102 big and small awards across all 32 local authority areas in Scotland, providing much needed support to over 79,000 Scottish children.

Donald Carslaw, CEO of Complete Cleaning, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have the chance to support the STV Children’s Appeal to such a wide audience at the British Rally Championships this weekend. Having been cleaning suppliers to STV for 18 years it is great to be able to support them in this way for such a worthwhile cause.”
