Derek Mackay MSP, the Cabinet Secretary for Finance, officially opened the new Mhairi Black campaign hub in Johnstone on Saturday.
Black, who is the SNP candidate for Paisley and Renfrewshire South hopes to be re-elected to Westminster for the third time.
A spokesperson told Renfrewshire News that the campaign to get Mhairi re-elected to Parliament has gone from strength to strength and has resulted in the need for two campaign hubs, one in Paisley and the other in Johnstone.
They added: “This will help to organise the increasing number of SNP activists and supporters who are coming out to help get Mhairi back in Parliament as the MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South.”
Derek Mackay MSP, said: “I’m delighted to come to Johnstone to open this new campaign hub for Mhairi Black. It is a testament to the support she has across her constituency that she needs to have two campaign hubs to manage the number of people who want to come out and support her.”

Mhairi Black, added: “I’d like to thank Derek for opening the hub in Johnstone.
“Within the next few days we will be putting online the official opening times of both our Johnstone and Paisley hubs. There will be lots to do from folding letters and stuffing them into envelopes to leaflet and canvass runs. All help would be greatly appreciated.
“This is a very important election, only the SNP will give the people of Scotland the right to determine our own future. We can’t continually put up with the cuts from London, we need to offer a positive vision for the future and that can only come with Independence.
“I am campaigning all across Renfrewshire and now have two campaign hubs, one at 37 High Street, Johnstone and the other at 10 Wellmeadow Street, Paisley. If anyone wants to help my election campaign you can pop into either hub or head to www.mhairiblack.scot/contact and get in touch with me.”
