Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses to trace a cyclist who was injured following a collision with a car in Paisley.

The collision happened on Saturday, 4th January at around 5.50pm on George Street. The cyclist left the area on foot and headed from George Street to West Buchanan Place in the direction of Canal Street. He may have sustained a head injury. He is a white man in his early twenties, with a slim build and dark hair, and was wearing dark clothing at the time. His bike was recovered at the scene.

Inspector Harkin of Paisley Police Office said “We are keen to trace this young man to make sure he is safe and well.

“I would appeal to him to contact us and ask anyone who saw the incident or may have dashcam footage to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 2651 of 4/01/2020”
