A national housebuilder has made a £4,000 donation to veterans’ charity Erskine.

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland staff’s summer fundraiser, which included a fun casino and a raffle and lots of fun raised £4,000 in total which has been matched by Taylor Wimpey’s local regional board team – raising an incredible £8,000 that has been shared between two charities close to the hearts of many of the staff including Erskine.

Erskine provides unrivalled support to veterans in Scotland through four care homes and a Veterans Village, an Activity Centre, five Assisted Living apartments, 44 Cottages and it has 24 Single Living Apartments which are currently under construction.

Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey, Karen McAulay Community Fundraising Manager from Erskine, said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey and we can’t thank them enough for their generous donation.”
