Police Scotland have made a second appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of an ex-prisoner who has breached his licence terms after being released from prison last year.

Officers confirmed they have been carrying out extensive enquiries to trace Joe McGee, 32 who is currently believed to be in the Johnstone area.

He is also known to have connections in the Paisley, Bridge of Weir and Linwood areas of Renfrewshire.

Mr McGee is described as white, around 5ft 6ins, of medium build, with short black hair and a tattoo on his right arm.

Sergeant David Gibson said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen Joe or has any information as to his whereabouts to please get in touch.

“You can contact Renfrew Police Office on 101, or alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”

McGee has breached the terms of his licence after being released from HMP Greenock on Saturday, 9th November 2019.
