A man’s face has been left permanently scarred after a man was seriously assaulted in Johnstone on Friday night.
The incident took place at around 9.15pm on Friday, 31 July, 2020, on Church Street when two men attacked a 26-year-old man.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
One of the men is described as being in his late teens, early 20’s, with dark hair and wearing a grey tracksuit, the other male is described as wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a black t-shirt.
Detective Constable Liam Rodgers, of Paisley Mill Street said: “The victim has been left with an injury which will cause permanent scarring.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and who saw anything suspicious or saw a group of young men around that time to come forward.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 4159 of 31 July, 2020.”
