Police in Paisley are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was injured on Saturday in Brediland Road in the Foxbar area of Paisley.

The child was crossing the road when he allegedly had to take evasive action to avoid a motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped and assisted the youngster before driving off.

Police Scotland said: “We would like to ask the driver of a blue Ford motor vehicle to contact police in order to assist with their enquiries.
