Police Scotland are appealing for information after items were stolen from Erskine Community Garden.

One of the larger items stolen was a picnic bench which was a memorial to Bruno, a local dog well known and loved by many in the community.

Other items include a child size wooden picnic bench decorated and donated by a local Brownie group, and a child size seat bench, recently refurbished into a Minnie Mouse theme.

Erskine Community Police officers are keen to recover the items as they have enormous sentimental value to the Community of Erskine.

Police Scotland said: “A local fundraiser has been established by Erskine Community Garden to replace Bruno’s Buddy Bench, and would therefore appeal to anyone who has knowledge of the whereabouts of these items to call the Police on 101.”
