Renfrewshire Christmas Toybank are still receiving donations during level 4 Covid restrictions.
The toybank is an army of volunteers in Renfrewshire collecting toys and gifts for children across the area who may otherwise not receive any gifts on Christmas day.
If you wish to make a donation before the drop-off points close on Monday, 7th December, the following drop-off venues below are still open.
In Paisley, Tesco East Lane supermarket, both Morrisons at Anchor Mill and Falside Road, Co-Op Funeralcare in Lady Lane and J & W Goudie Funeral Directors. Brew, who are offering a take away service, and Alan’s snack bar chip shop take away.
In Linwood the Tesco Superstore is open.
At Intu Braehead a donation point is open in the central atrium by the stairs.
Toybank founder and chairperson, Lauren Roy-Sutherland, told Renfrewshire News: “Thank you so much for continuing to donate through these hard time. We still have referrals coming in which we hope to complete, to help ensure no Renfrewshire child wakes up with nothing to open on Christmas Day.
“Due to isolating the items and a lot of agencies doing the same we will be closing drop off points as of the 7th December.”
