Police Scotland are appealing for the public’s help as part of efforts to trace a woman who is missing from the Paisley area.

Florentina Sanda Ciucir, a Romanian national, was last seen in Christie Street around 9.40am on Friday morning.

She is described as Eastern European, 5’3″, of slim build with long black hair. She was last seen wearing a pink hat with animal ears, a black and grey jacket, black leggings, light coloured boots, and carrying a black and grey reflective backpack.

Sergeant Matthew Richardson from Paisley Police Station said: “We are currently trying to piece together Florentina’s movements from Christie Street and would appeal to anyone with information to come forward.

“She is wearing quite a distinctive hat in the image and I would urge anyone who may have seen her in the Paisley area, or perhaps on public transport, to please get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 1748 of Friday, 18th December, 2020.”
