Update: Police Scotland has confirmed that the vulnerable man last seen in Magnus Road area, Houston has been traced the man safe and well.
Police Scotland have made a public appeal to help trace a vulnerable man who was last seen in the Magnus Road area of Houston this evening at around 7pm.
The man is described as being an elderly, white, aged 65 to 75 years with white hair. He is described as being of slim build and approximately 5’9″ in height and was wearing a blue disposable face mask.
We believe this may be the same man who was seen earlier on today near to Milliken Park train station and who was asking for directions to get to Houston. At this time the man was described as wearing a black puffa jacket with a zip that looked broken, in his mid 70’s, and wearing light blue denims with the bottoms turned up and an NHS blue face mask.
He was described at that time as grey and balding.
Police Scotland said: “Bus drivers and taxi drivers are asked to keep an eye out for the man who may be using public transport and in possession of a bus pass.
“Anyone who has any information is asked to contact police via 101 and quote incident number 2867 of the 1st February.”
