Paisley Community Policing Team are appealing for information regarding the use of off road motorcycles that are causing disruption within the local community.
Police Inspector Laura Hamill said “We have received a number of reports from local residents in both the Dykebar and Glenburn areas of Paisley regarding the noise and danger caused by these vehicles.
“The use of such vehicles in areas used by children and dog walkers have the potential of causing serious injury to both the riders and pedestrians alike.”
She added: “We will be carrying out additional patrols and owners of such vehicles run the risk of having an anti-social behaviour order placed on them and their vehicle. This could ultimately result in the owners being charged and their bikes/quads confiscated.
“If you have any information regarding the vehicles or individuals please contact Police Scotland by calling 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.”
