Police Scotland are appealing for information from the public after a bag was snatched from a woman’s shoulder in Paisley on Monday.

The theft happened at around 11am when the 42-year-old woman was walking along in Sunny Law Drive near to Moorhouse Avenue when a male grabbed her bag from her shoulder before running down Sunnylaw Road towards Greenways Avenue on Monday 8th March.

He is described as a white male, 16-17 years old, 5ft 6 slim build, wearing black hooded top, dark tracksuit bottoms, dark baseball cap and muddy trainers.

Police Constable Hagerty has made an appeal for information, he said: “The victim was very distressed by this incident and we are keen to trace the male responsible.
