An award winning Scottish hotel group is on the hunt for fresh talent to join its team.

The Manorview Hotel Group, which has eight hotels across West Central Scotland, is gearing up to come out of hibernation with a group wide recruitment campaign to fill several roles across its portfolio including two GM roles and two head chef roles.

The roles will be based in the Lynnhurst Hotel in Johnstone, Bowfield in Howwood which is set to re-launch this Spring. But like all Manorview team members the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work as part of the wider team with career progression opportunities available group wide.

The positions being advertised are significant roles and are integral to the success of the business, providing exciting opportunities for those looking to progress their career in hospitality.

Some of the roles being advertised include restaurant and hotel managers, head and sous chefs and kitchen porters, night manager, leisure instructor and housekeeping positions.

Manorview has been using the extended lockdown periods to prepare for the relaunch of The Redhurst Hotel in Giffnock which is currently undergoing a multimillion pound refurbishment, now nearing the final stages. They anticipate being ready to launch in line with the restrictions in Scotland lifted. The opening will mean the group will continue with its recruitment programme with further roles being made available in the coming weeks.

Manorview Hotel Group works with Skills Development Scotland on its Modern Apprenticeship Scheme and also encourages the team to apply for HIT Scotland (Hospitality Industry Trust) in the scholarship programme each year – with this year 11 people taking part. The management team roll out an annual staff training calendar covering all aspects of the brand journey and use their internal People Champions to support the team and ensure all training needs are constantly reviewed and identified.
