Police Scotland are appealing for information after two cars were stolen in the Renfrewshire area at the weekend.

A red Ford Focus (reg SN13 UJS) was stolen from a property in Semphill Avenue, Erskine at around 12.35am on Saturday.

A white Ford Fiesta (reg PY66 NUC) was aso stolen from a property on Kenley Road, Renfrew, between 6pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday 17th April.

Constable Stephen Solomon, of Paisley Mill Street Station, said: “Both the vehicles are still outstanding and enquiries are ongoing to trace the vehicles and those involved. We are keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents are connected.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the areas at the times the vehicles were stolen. Perhaps you have seen these cars being driven since then? If you have any CCTV or dash-cam footage that cold assist with our enquiries, please get in touch.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 0936 of 17th April.”
