Police Scotland have made four more arrests in relation to a drugs operation in the Foxbar area of Paisley.

In June, officers arrested a 45-year-old woman and 44-year-old man and recovered more than half a million Etizolam tablets, also known as ‘street Valium’ from a home in Paisley.

This morning detectives confirmed further arrests and now four men have also been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure.

The men are aged 35, 26, 22 and 32 and are due to appear in court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Ian Ross said: “Officers continue to work to stamp out drugs offences and the misery drugs cause in our communities. This was a significant recovery and we urge the public to get in touch if they have any information that can help combat drug abuse.”
