Last week Police Scotland Community Officers at Renfrew carried out a number of road safety checks in areas that have been highlighted by members of the public.
Some of the concerns raised include speeding and erratic driving behaviour.
The safety checks were carried out at Greenock Road in Paisley and Old Greenock Road in Erskine.
Sergeant Joanne Henderson, based in Renfrew, said: “Police Scotland will continue to carry out road safety checks to ensure the safety of local communities.
“There is a reason that speed restrictions are in place and it is essential that drivers abide by the law to ensure the safety of local residents and other road users within our community”.
