Police Scotland officers in Renfrew have made an arrest after two men were reported for acting suspiciously.

It turns out the men were suspected to be involved with a number of thefts in the local area.

The two men, aged 43 and 52, were first spotted at around 12.10am on Friday morning in the Marjory Road area of Renfrew. Both have been arrested and charged in connection with a number of thefts from houses and gardens in the local area.
