A fly-on-the wall documentary – produced by a University of the West of Scotland (UWS) lecturer – is to be one of the highlights of Channel 4’s festive schedule.

Billionaire Blooms, produced by Broadcast Production lecturer Dan Twist, offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the most internationally celebrated florists, as they cater to the luxury end of the market.

It tells several festive-themed stories, including that of an internationally renowned florist planning an enormous Christmas display for an exclusive-London venue; a celebrity floral designer whose client wants their entire mansion decorated for 25th December; and two floristry newcomers, whose contemporary take on floristry is being deployed to create an installation at one of the world’s top 50 restaurants.
