The work is expected to be carried out in two phases.
Phase One will take place from Monday 28th February until Saturday 5th March 2022, between the hours of 8pm and 6am, each night.
Phase Two will take place from Monday 7th March until Saturday 12th March 2022, also between the hours of 8pm and 6am, each night.
The work will be carried out by Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South-West Trunk Road Unit.
This scheme, with a value of £25,000, will benefit vehicles using this route each day by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
The work will be carried out using lane closures to St. James Interchange and the adjacent slip roads. Work will initially consist of an inner ring closure, before switching to the outer.

The maintenance works are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
