Police Scotland are attempting to tackle anti-social behaviour caused by the use of illegal off-road vehicles by using two off road quads as patrol vehicles.

The project is a joint venture between Police Scotland and Renfrewshire Council.

Concerns from local residents on issues such as anti-social behaviour and the illegal use of off-road vehicles has resulted in the joint venture.

Police Scotland said: “We are pleased to welcome two police quad bikes for use in the local area as of today, Wednesday 31st May.
