Two men, aged 30 and 23, have been arrested and charged with the alleged theft of cables and batteries worth a six-figure sum from business premises in Renfrewshire.
Electric cables and used car batteries were allegedly stolen from three different commercial and research premises in Hillington and Paisley between Thursday, 8th May and Saturday, 17th May 2025
Police Scotland said: “Following a detailed investigation, the two men were arrested on Monday, 26th May. They are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 27 May 2025.
“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
