Specsavers staff in Paisley have raised more than £600 for Sight Scotland after taking part in the Paisley 10K.
Members of the team from the Moss Street store completed the 10-kilometre race through Paisley on Sunday 16th August.
Specsavers Paisley was also a sponsor of the event.
The team used the race to raise funds and awareness for Sight Scotland and its work supporting people living with sight loss across the country.
Customers, friends and members of the local community were encouraged to support the team’s fundraising ahead of the event.
More than £600 has been raised so far for Sight Scotland. Donations can still be made through the store’s fundraising page.
Gail Thompson, store director at Specsavers Paisley, said: “The Paisley 10K is a fantastic community event, and we’re delighted to have supported it both as a sponsor and as participants.
“Our team really enjoyed taking on the challenge together. It was a brilliant opportunity to get involved in an event that brings so many people from Paisley and the surrounding area together.
“Sight Scotland carries out incredibly important work, so we’re proud to have used our involvement in the race to raise funds and increase awareness of the support available to people affected by sight loss.”
