Detectives are investigating the death of a man after a disturbance at a property in Paisley.
Police said they are treating the murder as suspicious.
The 27-year-old was seriously injured at an address in Kilnside Road, Paisley, at around 4.30am.
The man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he later died.
Detective Inspector Martin Fergus, of Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team, said on Sunday: “We are working to establish the circumstances which led up to the 27-year-old man being injured.
“I’d like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Kilnside Road in the early hours of this morning who may have witnessed a disturbance or noticed anyone acting suspiciously.”
Police Scotland said a post-mortem examination would take place “in due course” to establish the exact cause of death.
