Mhairi Black of the SNP wins Paisley and Renfrewshire South against Douglas Alexander.
Gavin Newlands also wins taking Paisley & Renfrewshire North from Jim Sheridan
Black, who’s only 20-year-old is believed to be the youngest MP since 1667.
She has overturned former shadow foreign secretary Mr Alexander’s majority of 16,600 to win by 5,684 votes – a massive swing of 27% from Labour to the SNP.
The humiliating defeat ends the political career of one of Labour’s most senior figures and sums up a terrible night for the party in Scotland.
