A second car has been stolen from a housing estate in Renfrew – the second car to be stolen in TWO days from the same area.
Around 2.55am this morning, Friday 12th February 2016 a housebreaking occurred in York Way, Renfrew.
Entry was gained via an open window and house and car keys were stolen from the back door of the address.
The householders car, a silver Kia Rio ’64’ plate was stolen and found later in the Jordanhill area at the scene of another housebreaking.
This is the second car that has been stolen from this area over the last two days and members of the public are being reminded by Police Scotland not to leave windows open at night and always secure house and car keys out of view.
