A woman has been seriously injured following a hit and run in Hillington.
A 41 year old woman was walking with her adult son in Mossland Road, near to Atholl Ave, Hillington, when she was struck by a burgundy Vauxhall Astra that had mounted the pavement.
She was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she is detained for treatment. Hospital staff describe her condition as stable.
Her son was not injured.
The hit and run happened on Tuesday 5th April 2016 around 7.35pm.

“The occupants of the car made off leaving the car at the scene. At this time, officers are checking CCTV in the area to identify those responsible and would appeal for anyone who either witnessed the crash or who has any information that will assist officers with their enquiries to get in touch.”
