Police are appealing for information after a 42 year-old-man and a 41 year-old-woman were seriously assaulted in Broomlands Street in Paisley.
On Sunday 13th March 2016 around 8.30pm a man and woman became involved in a verbal altercation with the two suspects on Broomlands Street.
The altercation then escalated which resulted in both individuals sustaining serious injuries requiring hospital treatment.
The first suspect is described as a white man, aged 25-29, wearing a dark hooded top.
The second suspect is described as a white man, aged 25-29, also thought to have been wearing a dark hooded top.
Detective Constable Laura Durnie, from Paisley CID said “We know that there was a verbal exchange prior to the assault. Given the time at which the incident took place, it is entirely possible that someone may have heard or witnessed a disturbance close to Broomlands Road on Sunday evening.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police at Paisley via the 101 number.”
