Renfrewshire Council will host a public consultation drop-in event tomorrow to show off the plans for Johnstone Castle’s new homes.
The Council has appointed Glasgow-based architects Anderson Bell Christie to lead the design team for the new development of around 100 new homes in Johnstone Castle for social rent by the Council.
Construction is expected to begin in late 2016/early 2017 and the development will offer a mix of property types, sizes and layouts.
The design team are currently carrying out site investigation works and preparing initial designs and layouts.
We’ll be displaying these at this public consultation drop-in event tomorrow, Tuesday 15th March between 5.30pm – 7.30pm at Johnstone Castle Community Centre, Pine Crescent, Johnstone.
This will be an early opportunity to view the draft design proposals and tell us what you think of them. We hope you’ll be able to come along and we are keen to hear your views.
If you can’t make it at that time, please contact Jennifer Murdoch, Regeneration Initiatives Co-ordinator on 0141 618 6261 or 07534 027539 and we will make other arrangements for you.
