Police have made an arrest after a man was found dead in Johnstone High Street last night.
John Winters, who was 26-years-old, was found near TSB Bank was pronounced dead at the scene at around 8.30pm last night.
Police Scotland confirm a 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
The High Street remained closed until early afternoon as officers continued to conduct enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesman, added: “Anyone who has witnessed the incident or has information please phone 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”
