Police have made an arrest after a man was found dead in Johnstone High Street last night.
John Winters, who was 26-years-old, was found lying on a grassed area across from Callums bar. Emergency services attended the scene and after attempts to revive him, he was pronounced dead at around 8.30pm last night.
Police Scotland have confirmed a 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
The High Street remained closed until early afternoon today as officers continued to conduct enquiries.

A Police Scotland spokesman, said: “Anyone who has witnessed the incident or has information please phone 101 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.”
