West Scotland regional list

Voters across the West Scotland region cast their regional list ballots on Thursday 7th May as part of the 2026 Scottish Parliament election.

The regional vote is used to elect seven additional MSPs for West Scotland using a proportional representation system, with seats allocated based on both the regional vote and the number of constituency seats already won by each party.

The West Scotland region includes Paisley, Renfrewshire North and Cardonald, Renfrewshire West and Levern Valley, Inverclyde, Eastwood, Dumbarton and several other constituencies.
