Detectives at Paisley CID are appealing for information following an assault on a man in the town.
Around 12.30am on Monday 2nd February 2015, a 39-year-old man was standing near to the Craig Dhu Public House, on Calside, having sustained an injury to his face.
A member of the public assisted him called an ambulance.
Police enquiries are continuing, however, detectives are keen to speak to anyone who has any information that may assist with their enquiry.
Detective Constable Elaine Malcolm, of Paisley CID, is appealing to the local community.
She said: “Our enquiries have revealed that the injured man may have been assaulted in a nearby flat. He has then been seen outside the public house where a Good Samaritan has come to his aid.
“We would like to trace the Good Samaritan as he may have information which could assist with our enquiries. I would also like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of the public house or on Calside at the time of the incident.”
