Police Appeal for Paisley Attack

CCTV close by shows of two women seen on Causeyside Street at around 4.30pm on Tuesday 28th April 2014 around the time when the man was attacked, and police believe they may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The first woman is described as

  • aged between 20 and 30
  • shoulder length brown hair.
  • Wearing a blue jacket, jeans and a white top
  • a large black and white shoulder bag.

The Second woman is described as

  • aged between 20 and 30
  • Long dark brown hair
  • She was wearing a striped fitted jacket, black leggings and high heels

Inspector Gary Noonan said: “This was a despicable attack on a vulnerable man who was injured and has been left shaken by this incident. It is important that we speak to the two women in the image as soon as possible as we believe they may have vital information about the incident.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious or recognises the two women to contact police via the non-emergency number 101.”
